Juan Pablo´s Presentation

My classmate JP presented an interesting topic, that topic is related to our society, the changes that we are living nowadays....

JP Started his presentation showing us his PPT, I have to mention that his PPT was Clear, concise, precise, and pertinent, I have to say that JP presented a good presentation, the colors that Juan Pablo choose in his PPT were good.

Juan Pablo Showed us the music of the subcultures listen, was a good instance to understand them, Juan Pablo moves around the classroom , his voice was good, was a good presentation.

Adolescent Pregnacy

My classmate Daniela Presented an important and interesting theme, was related to the adolescent pregnancy.....

My classmate showed us a nice presentation, was clear, sometimes her presentation showed a lot of information, sometimes was too much, because Daniela read a lot.

Daniela showed herself secure meanwhile she was explaining her topic, she was not moved around the classroom, but was good, the ideas were good explained, sometimes Daniela presented pronunciation problems, despite of that, her presentation was clear, she used in a correct way the English.

The budget was approve

Today, returning to Stgo, after long day by the approval of the budget in the Senate, with 20 votes to favor 14 against. The education budget was approved.

Some of the senators were:

• Carlos Ominami against the Budget.
• Alvear and Matthei approve the Budget.
• Orpis, Espina and Ominami, all candidates of re-election, have given the 3 votes against the budget.


I am so happy to know that the budget was approve and many people in my country will study in a normal way, without economical problems.

November 11th

Mr Litman, today at classes gave us a new website: www.twitter.com/tefl. This website is concerning to teachers that teach English, in this page you can find different tips to use when you are teaching English, some of their comments are related to dictations, how to make spelling fun, find easy to read txt for lower students level.

In my opinion, I think that is a good way to tech English using different resources as some followers of this page mentioned in the web site, some of the followers mentioned for example; if have you ever asked your students if they dream in English?

I think that it is a good question to make our students at school.

Maria Teresa´s Presentation: Friendship

My classmate talked about Friendship into the classroom, she started her presentation asking us the meaning of Friendship, Maria Teresa continued her presentation explained us the meaning of her presentation according to Longman Dictionary.

My classmate used a song as a background meanwhile she was talking about Friendship, Maria Teresa moves around the classroom doing eye contact with her classmates, then my Classmate gave us a cards with some adjectives in relation to her topic: lovely, honest, etc, she explained us her activity and what was the idea of that cards..... the activity was enjoyable.

Maria Teresa finished her presentation showing us a video related to the friendship, she used a beautiful song where the friendship was express in the lyrics.

In my opinion he presentation was good, she used in a perfect manner the body language, she moves around the classroom, she asked many times about her topic, was a good instance to put in practice the speaking related to her topic.

Francisca´s Presentation: Music @ School

Francisca started her presentation doing students (US) listened a song of beach boys, while we listened to the song, francisca gave us the instructions to form a semicircle to be able to Francisca begin her presentation formally.

First of all Francisca gave us a clarification about the idea of music in the classroom, my classmate showed us 4 stages of music:

• MUSIC BEFORE CLASS.
• MUSIC DURING MOVEMENT.
• MUSIC BEHIND SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION.
• MUSIC AFTER CLASS.

When Francisca explained us the clarification I could see that Francisca was static in front of the class, without movements, she did not use the space in the classroom, despite of, I think was a good presentation , was clear, Francisca tried to explained us in a good way the idea to use music in our classes with our student, Francisca showed us a web page regarding to the music when you are teaching.

Gallipoli is a movie that was taken place at 1 world war in 1915. Archy Hamilton is a young guy and promising athlete who emphasizes by his speed like runner. Nevertheless, Archy rejects a future of glory and it gets ready in the Australian cavalry where a group of Australian young soldiers that were sent to the front during I World War ,there Archy meet Frank. The destiny is Gallípoli, where they will have to fight with the powerful Turkish army. It is a movie where the friendship and adventure are stronger than the war.

In my opinion Gallipoli is a good example that I have never seen, that the war is a strategic game, where the friendship and adventure are stronger than the war. During the movie I could see the relationship between Frank and Archy where the friendship it is marked with their names written in the pyramids, at the end of the movie I could feel the same feeling, the friendship, the respect each other, the film permanently speaks about war and its effects on the generation of young boys.
